Terms of Service

By booking a car or service with GO MIRI, you agree to the following terms.

Driver requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years old.
• Valid Malaysian or international driving licence held for at least 1 year.
• Valid IC or passport presented at pickup.

Booking confirmation

• A booking is not confirmed until management approves it, or advance payment is received and verified.
• We currently accept cash at our Miri office or bank transfer, verified manually by our team.
• Full rental fee is due before the car is released.
• Late returns are charged on a pro-rata basis.

Refundable vehicle security deposit

A refundable RM100 vehicle security deposit applies. It is separate from the rental payment, collected before or at pickup and returned after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

For premium vehicles and cross-border (Brunei) trips, Admin may confirm a different security deposit before pickup. The final amount is confirmed by Admin — it is not charged automatically.

Cancellations & refunds

• Cancellation at least 2 days before pickup: 50% of the amount paid is refunded.
• Cancellation less than 2 days before pickup, late arrival or no-show: non-refundable.
• Every refund requires management approval and may take up to 7 working days.
• The refundable vehicle security deposit is handled separately, after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

Insurance & liability

All vehicles include comprehensive insurance. The renter is responsible for traffic offences, fuel and any damage not covered by insurance.

Cross-border travel

Brunei EES service is available — separate documentation applies. Trips outside Sarawak require written approval.
